In Italy this fabric has been used lots of times by our grandmothers for their bedsheets, when they washed them along the rivers using the ash and making this fabric white wash after wash. We’re talking of bedheets that were rough and softened during the days of use. Today GHINEA is used to produce lots of different items: curtains, cushions, aprons, tablecloths, bags, dolls.
Remember. If you like to preserve the natural color, you will have to wash GHINEA using neutral soaps without any bleaching agent.
